Westmoreland County TRIAD is a partnership dedicated to safeguarding our senior citizens from crime and exploitation.

What is TRIAD? TRIAD brings together law enforcement agencies, senior citizens, and senior organizations with a common goal: to educate seniors about scams and frauds targeting them, strengthen communication between law enforcement and senior communities, and provide access to local and state resources.

S.A.L.T. Council: Seniors and Law Enforcement Together The S.A.L.T. Council, which stands for Seniors and Law Enforcement Together, plays a crucial role in our efforts. This group convenes regularly to plan events, presentations, and discussions focused on enhancing the safety and security of our seniors.

Join us on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m. in the Sheriff’s Office training room for our S.A.L.T. Council meetings. Come learn about current scams, trends, and provide input on how TRIAD can better serve seniors in our community.

For more information or to get involved, please call 804-493-0106 or email TRIAD@westcoso.us.

Monthly Meetings and Quarterly Presentations We understand that not all seniors are comfortable using computers. If your senior does not use the computer, please contact First Sergeant A. Smith at (804)493-0106 or by email ansmith@westcoso.us . We can provide printed resource materials to keep them informed and safe.

Together, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our cherished senior citizens. Join us in making a difference in their lives and our community.
