UPDATE:

On Wednesday, April 3rd at approximately 11:15 p.m. officers from Richmond County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office discovered a body in the 300 block of Welford's Wharf Road in Richmond County. The body matches the description of Kearrah Chappell, 21 who was reported missing on April 1, 2024 by the Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office. 

The body of the young woman has been sent to the medical examiner's office in Richmond for positive identification. 

The investigation is ongoing. Based on current information, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for Kaleb Xavier Robinson, 20 of Essex County for the first-degree murder of Kearrah Chappell. Robinson has ties in Richmond County, Essex, Westmoreland, and King & Queen Counties.

ROBINSON IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

Kearrah Tanaja Chappell a 21 year old female was last seen on April 1st, 2024 around 9:00 p.m. at her home in Westmoreland County. She no longer has braids in her hair, but still has a black and red hair color.
