On Saturday, March 16, 2024 at approximately 12:34AM, Deputy Abbey L. Perkins and Deputy Jacob R. McKnight responded to a report of a domestic assault at the Oak Grove Campground. After the initial investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed. The deputies located and seized approximately 1lb of marijuana, an undetermined amount of a suspected schedule I or II controlled substance, and $11,354.75 in US currency. 

 

Mr. Albert L. Tibbs, Jr., 55, was subsequently arrested without incident and charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II controlled substance and one count of distribution of a schedule I or II controlled substance. He received no bond and his court appearances have been scheduled. The investigation continues and additional charges may be pending.
