August 2007-- Fake emails purporting to be from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) are circulating around the internet in search of unsuspecting prey. Some advise of a refund due and provide a link to a form requesting you to provide bank account and social security numbers. Other links may download malicious software to your computer.
Do not click on links in these messages, just delete the message.
